Welcome back! I'm so excited to be back to playing Sims 3 and writing in my blog, especially with the new expansion packs that are out.
Part of the reason I haven't been around, among other things, is because my computer couldn't handle my save game. The lot was too big, too many Sims, etc.
So the Whittakers have moved to Isla Paradiso! They sold their house and most of their belongings, bought a custom houseboat and now hang out in the islands.

Let's take a quick tour.
I wasn't aware that when you save a household to the library and move them to a new town, that the items in their inventory and family inventory went with them. So they got all new items. I'll update their stats in the next post, as well as purchase boats and stuff for them as well. I'm trying to keep my save game as small as possible since I have so many Sims and pets in the household.
I love this new motorcycle so much that I didn't change anything about it!
During the transition to the new town, something happened to the youngest family member, John. I couldn't interact with him at all and his head was at a strange angle. I had to cheat to age him up for him to return to normal, so I left him as a child Sim.
And, of course, after moving to an island paradise, the kid grows up being hydrophobic. Nice! I also realized that I never created a bio for him so I'm gonna get that put up. Stay tuned for the first entry in a new town through the eyes of the Whittaker legacy family. We're back!
