My name is Elena Rose. I'm new to SimCity and decided to blog about my adventures. Let's take a look at my new house.

I'm sure I can come up with a creative description of this house. Give me a minute . . . Well, it is a starter home. We can't expect too much, now can we?
A very simple kitchen to go with a very simple house.
Now this is where I splurged a little. A nice computer and book case are a must. And a high-tech trash bin is just too cool to pass up. Everyone has to have a Slablet . . . they just do.
What can be said about a bathroom? Except that they are hard to photograph.
And one final simple room for my simple home.
I was surprised when a great idea for a children's book hit me while I was in the shower, cleaning up after moving in my new furniture. "Never Eat Your Pet Turtle and Other Advice".
Of course I was interrupted before I could finish my grand idea of a book. When I answered the door, I was quite surprised to find four of my neighbors here to welcome me.
Travis even brought me a gourmet fruitcake. It will be interesting to try it.
I actually had a great conversation with my neighbors. I was slightly concerned when Liberty wanted to check out my computer. I had saved my book, right?
I learned that Summer was quite outgoing . . . if not a little . . . expressive.
I learned that Travis is a bit of a geek. He had to leave shortly after I pointed this out to him . . .
I had to share my observations that Katelynn seemed like a slob I once knew. Everyone seemed a little uncomfortable and Katelynn quickly said goodbye.
Then all my concerns flitted away when I learned that Liberty is totally a bookworm like me! I wonder if she would critique my book . . .
Even though Summer had to go, I was pleased that Liberty decided to stay for some fruitcake. It was quite the fruity delicacy!
Strangely enough, after cleaning up, I got a text saying I had earned 50 Simoleons from my NanoCan. Oh-kay . . .
My newfound friends (aquaintances . . .) soon had to leave and I resumed writing my book. I felt quite inspired by the unexpected company.
I finally decided upon an ending I liked and quickly finished my book. It was past time for bed.
The next morning, after a shower and some orange juice (and a slice of fruitcake), I decided to self-publish my new book.
I couldn't wait to see how many royalties I would earn. Now back to writing!
This time I decided on a short story: Five Metaphysical Overtures and One. You have to hear the synopsis before you will understand the title. Trust me.
Alright you guys! I'll post again soon. Thanks for stopping by!
