Day 13 - Friday
Hey all! It's Adrianna.
Hey all! It's Adrianna.
I woke up to find that the dogs had been busy hunting while I slept. They found some great items. Among them, Forrest found a chunk of palladium that I sold for $430 and a fragment of the Mini-Dinosaur Skeleton, and Jenny found another piece of the Stone Hydrant. I'm excited to see what these look like once I'm able to put them together.
I'm proud of my pooches!
While I was eating my breakfast, a call interrupted my logic tabcast. I was informed that I had been promoted to Creep Seeker (level 7, $1372 per week and the same hours - she also gained level 6 logic).
(Adrianna originally had three jobs spawn. All of them were to Deal with Angry Ghost. Of course, there is a glitch and each time I told her to go to the job, she just stood there and the job disappeared. Insert explicit language. Let's just say, I was very disappointed. I used the testingcheatenabled cheat and shift-clicked to spawn some jobs that actually work. Until there is a patch, I'm sorry to say, I can't show you the other assignments.)
My first job was to catch five ghosts. And I did. These jobs were getting really easy, but I want to collect as many spirits as I can so I can donate them to science. (The value of the five ghosts came to $349. Let me know if you guys want the full stats.)

The owner's little dog, Rookie, watched me catch the ghosts. He didn't growl or bark, he just watched. Strange little dog.
My second and final job was to investigate some paranormal activity at Hogan's Diner. Again. These people have a serious ghost problem. I'm surprised I'm not the only one to eat here . (She made $686 for each job. They get half their weekly stipend for each job, but she gets a bit more for having the Profession Simoleon Booster lifetime reward. She donated the ghosts she caught for $316 - notice the difference in selling versus donating.)
When I got home, I realized, once again, that Forrest stunk. He stank bad enough that I didn't even change my clothes before giving him a bath. Besides, this uniform repels water pretty good. As soon as I got Forrest out of the tub, I found fleas on him! I had to bathe him a second time. (True story! I also remembered to send out some gifts. If you want me to gift you, leave a comment with your Sims3.com username and whether you want a surprise gift box or a Supernatural elixir.)
When I turned around, I see this. A . . . stranger with an odd complexion and a strange shambling gait staring up at the full moon. What the . . . ? (This was Kyle Haung as a zombie. She missed him crawling out of the ground.)
I decided to try to cook something, instead of throwing together a salad all the time, and I made some decent . . . normal, everyday waffles. I liked 'em. (She gained level 2 cooking.)
So I'm sitting there, falling asleep and playing this addictive, online, social game, when Forrest brings home more fragments. I check them out to see which collection of fragments they belong to. From what I could determine, one was to the Our Friend Fred statue and the other from the Stone Hydrant statue.
(As always, we end this part with Adrianna going to bed. I forgot to write down the net worth of the lot AGAIN. She ended with $7742 and $3595 in stolen goods. Adrianna had 5363 lifetime happiness points, Forrest had 5922 and Jenny had 3983.)
