Day 21 through 22, Saturday through Sunday
Hey all! It's Adrianna.
Hey all! It's Adrianna.
Shrimp woke me up from a bad dream but I had to smile at him. I decided to go ahead and get up. I've had something on my mind since the phone call I received the night before.
I agonized over the decision I had to make while I constructed the statue pieces the dogs had been bringing me. It would be hard for me but would make someone else's life very special.
I decided to call Jedediah Stapleton back before I changed my mind. He said he would be over soon.
Goodbye Momma!
That's right. I let Jedediah adopt Momma. Of course, that was before I saw him, but it was too late to turn back. He looked like a vampire to me. (My fiance said he looks like an African American Mr. Rogers as a pirate! And Momma is giving Adrianna a look like 'How could you?')
I felt so sad about giving up Momma that I didn't even scold Shrimp for digging up the backyard. (Jenny reached level 9 in hunting. Forrest found some Woohooium worth $557 and Jenny found a pink diamond worth $1453.)
I lovingly watched Shrimp play with his little brother, Lieutenant. (Shrimp reached level 5 in hunting and Lieutenant gained the playful trait.)
Then I watched him chase his tail in endless circles. I interrupted this game of his by going out to check the mail. I had received a package from work, so I gave them a call. They said I had been promoted to Paranormal Expert and the box was my new Spirit Positioning Device. (She already made it to level 10 of her career! Yay! She now brings home $2976 a week.)
I activated the Spirit Positioning Device and headed out with my Spook-O-Meter to banish some ghost. Maybe that would make me feel better.
I was banishing the ghost on my own property when the Chief of Police called me. He wanted me to collect five ghost and take them to the criminal hideout to give them a scare. (Adrianna reached level 9 of logic.)
It was kind of creepy sneaking up to the criminal hideout to release the ghost, but oh so hilarious watching grown men climb up on tables and scream like little girls. I couldn't wait to call the Chief. (She earned $311 from this opportunity. She also had an award ceremony at City Hall for reaching the top of her profession but we missed it. Right as she got to the front door, the option was gone. Oh well.)
Since I was already in town, I headed to the festival. I convinced a werewolf and a vampire to enter the hot dog contest with me.
And let me tell you, the vampire won. Tell me how a plasma-drinking vampire won a hot dog eating contest . . . and the werewolf is the one hurling on the sidelines. What happened to the werewolf's veracious appetite? I mean I knew I didn't have a change, but who would have thought the vampire would win?
(While Adrianna competed in her contest, the unicorn Streak showed up at her house and all the dogs got to witness a unicorn for the first time.)
Then I convinced some people to have a water balloon fight with me.
I dropped out of the water balloon fight before a winner was declared so I didn't get any festival tickets for participating. I had to though because the line at the tanning booth was finally gone and I didn't want to miss my chance to get a tan. How else am I gonna get a tan? I'm up all night.
The tan turned out perfect! I decided to see what prizes I could win.
I decided to try the claw machine first.
I got so frustrated because I kept dropping my prize. I really think these things are rigged. But then I won a Scary Beary stuffed toy that was supposed to be an imaginary friend. I never had one so I don't know what they are supposed to look like, but it was cute.
Then I won a toy alligator and decided I had to get a claw machine for myself.
(While Adrianna slept, Streak showed up again!)
(And the dog gnome appeared next to Dan to watch over him while he slept. Dan gained the playful trait.)
(Adrianna randomly decided she wanted Bonehilda so I went ahead and bought the coffin.)
When I woke up, it was raining. I checked the mail and then check the weather in the newspaper. The light rain quickly became a thunderstorm so I decided to skip the festival today.
It's only two day until fall! I'm excited for the fall festival to arrive in town.
I spent the majority of the day mixing potions. I learned the Imaginary Friend Metamorphium and the Sleeping Elixir. I made several of the sleeping elixirs. That was the one I was trying to figure out.
A Note From ShayDLane: She earned the Ghost Hunter's Key to the City and earned $2976 for the week. The net worth of the house was $50,175 and she had $33,740. She had $5986 in stolen goods because she didn't go out stealing stuff over the weekend. Adrianna had 9486 in lifetime happiness points, Forrest had 8003, Jenny had 10,047, Shrimp had 3152, Lieutenant had 93 and Dan had 161.
